Catherine Andrea Gerdez

Catherine Andrea Gerdez is a copywriter and saleswoman originally from Caracas, Venezuela. She has a bachelor's degree in International Studies from the Central University of Venezuela. She speaks fluent English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish (her native language) and is currently learning Mandarin.

From a young age, she was dazzled by other cultures; a memory from her childhood is that she loved listening to her uncle, a musician who used to sing in different languages. Back then, she considered how classic music (Luciano Pavarotti) could connect people regardless of country and background. Growing up, she started to study grammar, phonetics, and literature in her free time.

She is fond of reading from international novels to politics and social studies. Nowadays, she uses her knowledge and curiosity to write content that educates the reader while creating an unexpected interest in the topic.

She currently resides in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil making her dream come true of living in a cosmopolitan beachside city while learning Portuguese and growing fond of the sports culture of Brazil.
